If your desire is to limit your sexual partner(s) to those who will be your spouse, then you should date within the pool of men who value that. Part of what you need to think about now is why that was so important (if not for religious reasons), and come to terms with it. We talk a lot on this blog about the Golden Vagina syndrome, the idea that (to be blunt here) the man simply getting to put his dick in that magical place is something he should have to bow and scrape and slay dragons for. Without the religious conviction, it’s a pretty empty and entitled position. If you aren’t having sex for the pure enjoyment of it, but merely to bestow a great and priceless Gift, you’re going to have a lot of resentment ahead.

Sounds to me like she was raped. To boot, she’s codependent. Love? No. No. NO. There’s a difference between REALLY wanting to do it and manipulating, forcing, and not respecting someone’s wishes about protection. Love is the decision to act for the good of the other. When he ignored your pleas to protect you (and himself), he neglected to love you. This guy is no good. If you don’t end it now, be prepared for worse. Two months in and he’s already raped you. What will he do as time goes on?
